This Will Taste Great for Years!
Well, we are finally home (even though we are missing 3 of us in this picture). The trip this time around seemed much shorter - for obvious reasons. It seemed that about every 20 minutes someone would say, "Hey, remember when we beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl?" It never got old!
This trip, and season, is one that I will always remember. Like I said in my first post, I was out of the country for all but one game of the 2004 Fiesta Bowl season. It just about killed me; however, things have a funny way of coming back to you. I never thought I would get to see a season like 2004 in person. Fortunately, I was wrong! Although the once called "Cardiac Kids" put most of Ute Nation through Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome, they finally worked out the kinks to finish the season in style. I hope that I can always remember how this feels when I am far removed from College or the State of Utah. These are special times that don't come around too often (or hopefully, if the trend continues, every 5 years!). Now, as the long, cold, football-less winter sets in, I can only look forward to Spring Ball in anticipation with the hope for another magical season with a happy ending. But for now, Utah Basketball will fill the void and I hope, and believe, that one day Coach Boylen will be able to pull off something similar to this 2008 Utah Football Team.
Go Utes!!!
We get caught in a snow storm in New Mexico this morning. That has slowed us down quite a bit because we had to stop for a few hours, but we're moving again.

The Sweet Taste Of Victory!
Wow! What a game! What else can I say? We are super tired and are headed out early tomorrow, so we are going to hit the sack. I'll post some photos as soon as I get home.

I Need the 5's
Dang it! I need the fives for the false starts! Ever since the Oregon State game, I have been hanging a 5 at the front of the MUSS section for every false start we cause from the noise. I didn't bring them to New Orleans because I thought we would be outnumbered and not able to affect much. Fortunately, I was wrong. We have caused 3 false starts already! At least my brother brought the 3rd Down Jump sign.
